There is a MAJOR problem with Mona Hodgson’s Quilted Hearts series: each novella is way too short! I was firmly entrenched in Bending Toward the Sun when I glanced at the bottom of my Kindle’s screen. Eighty percent? How had I read 80 percent of it already?

Emilie’s father is resolved to keep Quaid away from his daughter. He tells her that it’s because Quaid is Irish, but a conversation regarding another man made me wonder if there was something more to this father’s determination.
