Blogging for Books Newsletter

August 2, 2012

Dear *|FNAME|*,

As you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet with the Image Blogging Initiative. Despite our silence in the last few months, we have been hard at work on a new development with our blogging program, and it is my pleasure to tell you more about it today.

Image Catholic Books, as a division of Random House, has been given the opportunity to integrate our blogging initiative with the popular and dynamic program, Blogging for Books. Blogging for Books is a partnership program with bloggers started by our sister imprint, the WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group, that offers free books to bloggers in exchange for honest reviews. This program is currently used by nearly 10,000 bloggers, and is growing every day.

What does this mean for you? As a valued member of our original Image Blogging Initiative, you are invited to join us as we partner with Blogging for Books. Our newest Catholic books will still be available, but you’ll now have access to hundreds of other Christian books to choose from as well.  To join the Blogging for Books program visit to create your free account.

Once your profile is activated, you can begin choosing your free books! Detailed instruction on how the program works can be seen on the Blogging for Books support page.

Unlike the previous Image Blogging Initiative, you do not have to wait to hear from us in order to choose your books. You can see an active list of available books any time, and can choose any book you’d like. Because of this program partnership, we will no longer be offering books via email. If you’d like to continue to partner with us for great Catholic books, I hope you’ll join us on Blogging for Books!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach me. I’d love to hear from you!
As always, thank you for your partnership in promoting Catholic literature. We appreciate you!

Grace and peace,
Lindsay Olson
