There are three things we want to communicate in this newsletter...
1) Update your Blogging for Books preferences (please!)
2) We love librarians!
3) We set books aside just for you!
We recently rolled out some improvements to the Blogging for Books program which will result in the ability for us to offer you books more accurately based on your preferences and offer you more books in general
Update Your Blogging for Books Preferences (please!)
Please log in to your Blogging for Books account. Once you log in, you will be asked to update your preferences including your denomination, book interests, eBook reader (if applicable), Twitter handle (if applicable) and connection to Klout (also if applicable).
We Love Librarians!
As a reminder, as a librarian you are not required to have a blog. You're only requirement for participation in the program is to post a review on BloggingForBooks.org.
We recognize that, as a librarian, you are talking about books day in and day out. We know if one of our books moves you, you'll have plenty of places to talk about that book outside of a blog or website. Therefore, the only requirement for participation is to post a short review on BloggingForBooks.org.
We Set Books Aside For You!
If you hear us Facebooking or Tweeting about Klout, review scores or the number of visitors at your blog, please know that you do not need to be concerned about these things. We set aside books each week designated just for librarians and there are no requirements or hoops to jump through to request these books. And, in many cases, as a librarian you'll be able to choose a print copy, ebook or both ebook and print!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please let us know. And, as always, feel free to invite other librarians to join Blogging for Books at www.BloggingForBooks.org/library
Also, in case you do want to connect your Blogging for Books account to your Klout account, here is a link to watch a video on how to set this up. If you have a Klout of 60+ expect an email from us in the next two weeks with an invitation to review any book on RandomHouse.com including cookbooks, biographies, kids books, bestselling fiction, sports books, business books and more! Any title, yours if you have Klout of 60+!
